HAPPY MONKEY YEAR
February 8 is the first day of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Monkey 2016. The Monkey year is the ninth in the twelve year cycle of the zodiac animals. Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is normally celebrated by the lighting of firecrackers and watching traditional lion dances. Children and the un-married are presented with ‘lucky money’ red envelopes as a New Year gifts.
