The India@Mindil festival LIVE Saturday was held this Saturaday 20 June 2015 at Mindil Beach started at 4.30pm and continued till late.

The Indian community in Darwin’s once a year Indian Festival called the Darwin’s annual India@Mindil event went off with a BIG Bang with more than 20,000 visitors enjoying the sounds of Indian in colours, glitz and glamour, entertainers performed well into the wee hours of the night. Dancers, both local and international, showed off Bollywood styles and traditional dances from the Indian states of Gujarat and Orissa. Walking around visitors enjoyed the Indian music? mingled with the smell and aromas then tasted all the delicious spiced curries, koftas and dahl that the Indian Festival at Mindil Beach brings to an otherwise boring Darwin Saturday evening.
